The Challenge
To deliver on-demand print and installation of window manifestations, vinyl wall graphics, signage and wayfinding over 52 install locations across the UK, Ireland and Europe, on budget and on time.
The Solution
Jake Jennings is the designer behind the highly impactful facades for the innovative student housing provider, and he specifically selected us to deliver. We worked closely with Jake and his team at CreateSwell to ensure fast and efficient production from start to completion.
Yugo wanted to ensure that whatever materials was chosen for the installation, they should be robust and stand the test of time. Externally Contra Vision Performance in 30% and Campaign Clear in 30% were both selected to provide the solution for the majority of the window manifestations, alongside Metamark long life vinyls. Exterior requirements were a blend of print direct to Aluminium Composite Material, CNC cut to shape with Weathershield long life lamination and a series of folded trays, illuminated protruding signs and heavy duty and weatherproof, illuminated flex face signs
Internally, we combined Metamark high grab vinyls and UV matt laminates with SwissQPrint print direct to CNC cut 12mm birch face plywood to create stunning a stunning wayfinding package.
This project perfectly demonstrates our ability to produce on-demand print and expertly manage installation across multiple sites. On budget and on time, Yugo Student Living were over the moon with the results.
Pro tip: Using a clear film and reverse printing the design, allows for an internal application. This can be particularly beneficial and offers considerable cost savings, versus hiring access equipment.
