It’s an excellent reference pack with some valuable info for creatives, designers and even printers.

Our HP Indigo 7900 is fitted with 7 colour stations and we regularly print CMYK, White, Silver, Fluorescent Pink and other specials. Specials can include any Pantone colour. Our press prints SRA3+ (460mm x 320mm) sheets and we can run these colours. One great benefits of digital printing is that we can manage variable data or designs across all of these colours.

The pack includes examples of the following:-

White Ink Printed with the new HP new high density white. This works well on all coloured stocks.

Fluorescent Pink Ink achieves a super bright output. Under UV light the colours illuminate further and leap off the page. The best results are achieved on coated stock but we like the uncoated look too. One of the additional benefits of the Fluorescent Pink is what happens when we use this underneath normal CMYK colours, colours such as reds and oranges are more vibrant and super strong.

Silver Ink is a very close match to Pantone 877 silver traditional litho ink. The best results are achieved on coated stock but we like the uncoated look too. One great benefits of digital silver is that we can manage variable data or designs, but what might be more interesting to our creative friends is the fact that if we put the silver underneath the CMYK colours we can successfully print almost any metallic colour.
